Grands Boulevards is a station on the lines 8 and 9 of the Paris Metro, located on the edge of the 2nd and 9th arrondissement of Paris. On both lines, it finds itself between the stations Richelieu - Drouot and Bonne Nouvelle. Aside from the metro, Grands Boulevards is also a stop on the bus line 20, 32, 39, 74, and 85. The metro station was inaugurated on 5 May 1931 one line 8 and 10 december 1933 on line 9. At first, it was called Rue Montmartre, but it was later renamed to avoid confusion that the station is located in the Montmartre district.
