George V is a metro station on Line 1 of the Paris Métro, under the famous Champs-Élysées, known for its theatres, cafés, and luxury shops, as well as the annual Bastille Day military parade and the finish of the Tour de France cycling race. The George V station was opened on 13 August 1900. The station entrance is located between Rue de Bassano and Avenue George V on the Champs-Élysées.
The preceding station is Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and the following station is Franklin D. Roosevelt. George V also serves line 73 of the bus RATP, and at night, the lines N11 and N24 of the Noctilien night bus.
