Merode is a metro and train station in Brussels. The station is located in Etterbeek, at the eastern end of the common branch of line 1 and line 5, with Montgomery as the following station to line 1 and Thieffry to line 5, and Schuman as the preceding station of both lines. The station provides connections to the Brussels tram line 81 and bus lines 22, 27 and 80.

This station is surrounded by several attractions, including the famous Parc du Cinquantenaire, the Avenue Tervueren/Tervurenlaan (one of the oldest avenues in Brussels) and the Royal Military School. There are also many companies, shops, schools and restaurants nearby.
